THMA Chairman’s Letter – May 2021

Welcome the latest THMA news letter.

Since the last edition we have had a successful OWC conference. Some of the technology did not go quite as planned in terms of the networking but the content was of high quality and wide ranging. My thanks to all of our team at THMA for organising and producing such an amazing finished article.

The world seems to be slowly returning to normal and on the strength of that OWC 2022 is already in the diary, returning as a full face to face event, albeit using some technology, we’ll  see you back at The Spa, Bridlington on  27-28 April next year.

Fortified by OWC 21 and the forthcoming Windy Millers event we are planning for the future, taking on board the comments I received in my 1 to 1 discussions with members. We need to be bigger, stronger, reach back into some of the areas of the blue economy we have not visited as often in recent times, whilst still playing a key role in the continued role out of offshore renewables, and the opportunities the Humber has with the building of a UK low carbon economy. Watch this space as exciting times and developments are just around the corner.

Best wishes to you all.

Andrew
