The Humber Skills Commission Call for Evidence

The Humber Local Enterprise Partnership has launched a major piece of work looking at the future skills needs of the Humber Economy.

The Commission, chaired by Nic Dakin MP on behalf of the LEP, includes Lord Haskins, Chair of the Humber LEP, and representatives of major local employers, key agencies and representatives of schools and colleges, wants to hear from you.  We want to hear from local businesses, education and training providers and organisations that support people into education, training and work.  We also want to hear from anyone who has a view of how we should ensure that the skills we need are there for the future.  We want your ideas and your evidence.  This will contribute to the process of identifying and collecting evidence about barriers and issues that the Humber faces in terms of skills, training and employment, as well as better understanding some of the key strategic initiatives that are being developed in response to these challenges.
