Geomatix win contract to supply GeoTide System to Payra Port Authority, Bangladesh.

Geomatix have recently been awarded a contract to supply their tidal prediction system GeoTide to the recently formed Payra Port Authority (PPA) of Bangladesh.
Payra Port is a brand new new facility on the Rabnabad Channel in the Patuakhali district of Bangladesh.
Commander M Habibul Alam of the Bangladesh Navy, who is the chief hydrographer of PPA, said “We offer an anchorage for cargo vessels of up to 16m draught with transfer of cargo to and from the quay using shallower draught vessels. With a considerable tidal range we need accurate tidal predictions to support these operations.”
