GEV praises workforce and announces two new key players

GEV would like to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of their workforce across all offices, ensuring the continued growth and success of the company over the past months. Despite the recent uncertainty of a global pandemic and subsequent lockdown, GEV continue their necessary expansion as they strengthen and develop their global reach. By investing in the core team, GEV maintain the high standards and reliable services their clients are familiar with to ensure their rotor blade maintenance needs are consistently met, across the globe.

GEV are therefore delighted to announce the hiring of two new key hires, Chris Sarel and Paul Nash, who will both play critical roles within the business moving forward.

Chris Sarel will shortly be joining the GEV team as Operations Manager for the UK. Chris comes from an Engineering background and started life in the Aerospace sector. He has had experience working in the Offshore sector and latterly the Renewable industry with Siemens Gamesa. Since the start of production in 2016, Chris headed the Coating & Final Assembly operations at the Port of Hull producing some of the industry’s largest turbine blades for North Sea projects. Chris is a keen runner and volunteers as a Special Constable in his spare time at the weekend. Chris says, “I hope to bring my experience of establishing structure and systems to continue to establish GEV as a leading company in the industry.”

GEV also warmly welcome Paul Nash to the team, appointed as interim Chief Operating Officer (COO). Paul is a Chartered Engineer by trade, with extensive experience in Automotive, Aerospace & Defence, Rail and Engineering industry sectors for a wide range of companies. He has worked in a number of Blue Chip companies, including Ford, Jaguar, BAE Systems as well as running various SME companies. Paul has also led companies in UK, Italy, USA and Russia. Paul regularly raises money for Cancer Charities by racing Triathlon/Ironman events around the world.

We look forward to welcoming both Chris and Paul on board and are excited to see their respective backgrounds and experience bring a wealth of fresh knowledge to GEV’s core management team.
