Team Humber Marine Alliance (THMA) is a well-established industrial grouping of more than 160 member companies based in the Humber region, operating across the UK and internationally.

There is an enormous breadth of engineering and professional experience among member companies, combined with knowledge and capabilities in six key sectors: renewable energy, commercial shipping, inland waterways, offshore oil and gas, defence and security, and nuclear energy.

The members of the Alliance work both independently and in collaborative groups. This gives clients a single access point to a vast array of skills and resources and the ability to create bespoke supply networks exactly to their specification, using the best suppliers for their projects.

When the members of the Alliance collaborate they use a framework that binds them into a single entity. This allows clients to work with multiple suppliers under one collective contract, reducing time and management costs associated with larger traditional supply chains.

The Alliance works closely with sector champions, individual consultants who provide member companies with skilled, expert personal advice and assistance.

The Alliance is inextricably linked to the Humber ports of Hull, Grimsby, Goole, and Immingham, the fourth largest port complex in northern Europe and the busiest in the UK, handling over 40,000 shipping movements and in excess of 92 million tonnes every year.
