A 10 YEAR MILESTONE!
After just a few months of the THMA HQ being located here at ergo I can say that we are truly ensconced in our new facilities and are especially thankful to have air conditioning keeping us cool during these fine summer months.
Right now, we are in a period of repose as we finalise plans for a number of key Autumn activities and indeed start preparing for a busy 2019! Next month we’ll be heading to Wind Energy Hamburg the largest wind exhibition in the world and joining us on the Green Port/Humber Renewables stand will be ten of our members all looking to grow their business internationally.
In October we will be heading to the Offshore Energy 2019 Amsterdam exhibition as part of a Northern Powerhouse Trade Mission along with 30 companies of which 17 are THMA members. Whilst in Amsterdam THMA will also be signing an Anglo-Dutch cooperation agreement with a number of organisations focused on optimising opportunities around the southern north sea basin… more details in due course!
Closer to home we are organising an Autumn events programme taking place here at ergo along with our partners Green Port Growth, AURA and
Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult and we’ll be circulating more information about this in the coming weeks.
Finally, after months of consultation with industry and partners we are near to announcing a new Regional Ports & Logistics initiative that has a number of objectives including heightening the profile of the Humber region which we know is the busiest port complex in the UK by tonnage and the fourth busiest in Europe!
Before I end I’d like to add a special word of congratulations to our very own Mary Green who this week is celebrating 10 years at Team Humber Marine Alliance. Quite a milestone these days and I’m sure you will all agree that Mary has over the years played a fantastic part in supporting you, our members, and partners and indeed helping us to keep the Humber at the forefront in the Maritime and Offshore sector.
